About The Project
-
Akeso was created to offer a different approach to physiotherapy—one that goes beyond treating pain to help people restore their movement, strength and confidence.
Founded by Brett Money, Akeso was previously known as Om Active. JED Creative was brought in to develop a new brand identity and communication system that could position Akeso as a leading premium physiotherapy destination, while creating a strong foundation for future growth.
-
Physiotherapy is often associated with injury, pain and recovery. Akeso wanted to shift that perception.
The brand is built around the idea of restoration: the body's ability to recover, rebuild and return to its optimal state through a carefully considered process.
This became the foundation for the visual identity.
Rather than relying on conventional medical or fitness cues, we developed a visual language that feels precise, contemporary and human—reflecting the balance between clinical expertise and the physical experience of movement.
-
The identity was designed as more than a logo. We created a flexible brand system that could work consistently across the entire Akeso experience—from the clinic environment and communication materials to digital platforms and content.
The system needed to feel premium without becoming intimidating, clinical without feeling sterile, and sophisticated while remaining approachable.
This flexibility was particularly important as Akeso planned to expand its presence through multiple locations.
-
Alongside the identity, JED developed the website, brand guidelines, content strategy and content development to create a consistent expression across physical and digital touchpoints.
The result is a brand that positions physiotherapy not simply as a treatment, but as an investment in the way we move, perform and live.
Akeso is about unlocking the body's potential—and helping people return to their prime.
