About The Project
-
ERHA had already established itself as one of Indonesia's leading names in dermatology and skincare. The next opportunity was to make its expertise more accessible through a new retail concept—one that could bring professional skincare into the everyday routines of a broader generation of consumers.
Erha Apothecary was created as a new retail expression of the ERHA brand: a place where skincare, expertise and discovery could come together in a more approachable environment.
JED Creative was involved in developing the brand identity and visual system for this new retail experience.
-
Traditional dermatology clinics can feel highly clinical and treatment-focused.
Erha Apothecary needed to create a different experience.
The idea was to translate ERHA's scientific and dermatological credibility into a space that felt more approachable, contemporary and lifestyle-oriented, without losing the expertise that made the parent brand trusted.
This became the central design challenge:
Professional skincare, made approachable.
A new expression of ERHA
Rather than creating a completely separate identity, we developed Erha Apothecary as part of the wider ERHA brand ecosystem.
The visual language retains the credibility and recognition of ERHA while introducing a softer, more contemporary expression suited to a retail environment.
Typography, colour, graphic elements and communication were developed to create a balance between science and beauty, expertise and accessibility.
-
A retail skincare environment needs to do more than display products.
It needs to help people navigate choices, understand what their skin needs and feel comfortable exploring unfamiliar products.
The Erha Apothecary identity was therefore designed to work across the entire customer journey—from storefront and signage to product communication, merchandising and in-store graphics.
The system creates a consistent visual environment while allowing different skincare categories and products to have their own presence.
