About The Project
-
A skincare brand is experienced long before a product reaches the skin.
It is experienced through the packaging on the shelf, the language on a box, the design of a clinic, the signage outside a store and every visual interaction in between.
For ERHA, JED Creative has been a long-term creative partner, working alongside the brand from its early development and helping shape how it is expressed across products, clinics, retail environments and communications.
-
ERHA was built around dermatological expertise and professional skincare.
As the category evolved, so did the way consumers approached skincare. Dermatology was becoming increasingly integrated into everyday beauty and personal care, creating an opportunity for ERHA to extend its expertise into a broader consumer experience.
The challenge was to create a brand expression that could communicate clinical credibility without feeling overly clinical, and expertise without becoming distant or intimidating.
-
Rather than treating each product or communication as a separate design exercise, JED developed systems that allowed the ERHA brand to remain recognisable across a growing portfolio.
Our involvement has included naming, brand identity, brand guidelines, packaging design, retail design and signage systems, helping establish consistency across the many places where consumers encounter the brand.
From acne care and daily skincare to sun protection and haircare, individual products needed to communicate their specific benefits while remaining part of a coherent ERHA family.
-
With ERHA products distributed through retailers across Indonesia, packaging became one of the brand's most important consumer touchpoints.
JED developed packaging systems that balance product information, dermatological credibility and visual distinction, allowing different product lines to communicate their individual functions while maintaining a recognisable ERHA presence.
The result is a portfolio designed to work not just as individual products, but as a connected brand family.
-
ERHA's brand extends beyond packaging.
JED also worked across ERHA's physical environments, including clinic and Dermacenter identities, signage systems and retail applications.
This required the brand to work at very different scales, from a small skincare package to a building facade, while maintaining the same underlying principles.
The challenge was always consistency without uniformity.
-
Some brands are created through a single rebranding project.
ERHA was different.
Over the years, JED has worked alongside the brand as its products, channels and ambitions evolved. This long-term relationship allowed us to develop not only individual pieces of communication, but the systems and standards that hold the brand together.
That continuity is what turns design into brand building.
-
ERHA demonstrates the value of thinking beyond the logo.
A successful consumer healthcare brand needs to work across products, retail, clinics, digital communication and physical environments, creating a consistent experience while remaining relevant to changing consumer needs.
JED's role has been to help ERHA navigate that complexity and turn dermatological expertise into a brand experience that can live in people's everyday lives.
From dermatological expertise to everyday skincare.
From a product to an ecosystem.
